SPIGENER, Donald Wilbur, age 60, a resident of Equality, AL; passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Cook and Rev. John Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Carolina Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Spigener is survived by his wife, Harriette Spigener, one daughter, Leigh Spigener, brother-in-law, O. C. (Dee Dee) Mathews, sister-in-law, Selena (Greg) Watkins, nieces & nephews, Harry Mathews, Katie Mathews, O. C. Watkins, and Chance Watkins, and his special friend, Rob Hinson. Pallbearers will be Craig Stanley, Wallace Owens, Warren Colley, Mike Gwin, Jim Gwin, Wayne Davis, Jimmy K. Lanier, and Jimmy Sharpe. Visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2010 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Eclectic, P.O. Box 240400, Eclectic, Al. 36024 or American Diabetes Association, Memorial & Honor Program, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Virginia 22312.
