GATES, Joe Landry, age 57, a resident of Eclectic, AL; passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Wood officiating. Burial will be at Balm of Gilead cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Gates is survived by his wife, Ina Marcia Gates of Eclectic, AL; three sons, Greg Gates of Prattville, AL; Jeramiah (Cecelia) Gates, Brent Gates all of Eclectic, AL; one daughter, Landria (Kyle) Tyler of Wetumpka, AL; one brother, Johnnie (Inez) Gates, Jr. of Eclectic, AL; one sister, Linda (Walter) Boggess of Florida; nine grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home.
