Biography

JONES, Mrs. Betty Louise; age 74, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Monday, February 1, 2010. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Coosa River Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Wood officiating and Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Shelia (Richard) Worthington; sons, Bobby (Rita) Jones and Tommy Jones; brothers, Morris Henderson and Jerry Henderson; sister, Janice Cotten; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Thompson, Tate Perez, Worthy Perez, and Ashton Perez. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL 36111. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Gassett Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at Coosa River Cemetery prior to services on Thursday.
