THOMAS, Susan Elaine, age 47, a resident of Pike Road, AL; passed away Friday, February 5, 2010. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Coosa River Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her parents, Ardis H. & Lottie L. Haney Powell. She is survived by her husband, David Ross Thomas, one daughter, Tabitha Elaine Thomas, adopted children, Dakota Drew Cassy and Angelique Janae Cassy, and her cousin, Angela Marie Owens. Pallbearers will be Robert Thomas, Bill Thomas, Ronald Thomas, Donald Thomas, Ricky Thomas, Charles Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Jackson and Justin Thomas. Visitation will be held Monday, February 8, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family of Susan Thomas.
