Biography

ESTES, Mrs. Mabel T., age 93; a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Troglen officiating and Mike Whitt eulogizing. Interment will follow at Pine View Memorial Gardens with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mrs. Estes is survived by her daughter, Billie (Glade) Shepherd of Sandy, UT; sisters, Dot (Sam) Bass of Wetumpka, AL, Betty (James) Wambles of Valley, AL, and Frances Lazenby of Auburn, AL; granddaughters, Melissa Radcliffe and Stephanie (John) Paustian; five great-grandchildren: Chase, Conner, Ben, Olivia, and Megan. Pallbearers will be Milton Thurston, Mike Whitt, Chase Radcliffe, Joseph Whitt, Glade Shepherd, and Sam Bass. Honorary pallbearer will be Buck Whitt. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday at Gassett Funeral Home. Appreciation and thanks are expressed by the family to Hospice Advantage and her caregivers for their love and support.
