Biography

BROWN, Charlene “Jackie” a resident of Eclectic, Alabama passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at the age of 57. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Miller and Rev. Roger Boswell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Jackie is survived by her son, Jason Brown; grandson, Jacob Brown; five brothers: Tommy (Mary) Jackson, Joe (Cecelia) Jackson, Bobby (Gail) Jackson, Jackie Jackson, and Roger (Ashley) Boswell; two sisters: Mary Alice (Clyde) Lampley and Janice (Larry) Thornell; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and special friends: Sheila C., Carol and Al Russell, and Amy Covel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Pickard Jackson and Ethel Mae Joiner Jackson; brother, Buddy Jackson; and sister, Mary Helen Sanford. Pallbearers are Roy Durham, Rodney Pugh, Tandy Key, Al Russell, Tommy Jackson, and Joe Jackson. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions are requested to Vista Care Hospice.
