STEWART, Mr. Jesse, age 87, a resident of Eclectic, AL; passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Jay Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Grier Chapel Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Stewart is preceded in death by his first wife, Isabelle Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Lazenby Stewart, one son, Jesse Stewart, Jr., one daughter, Pat Stewart, grandchildren, Melissa Cross, Tammy Sexton, Milton Stewart, Maria Delgado, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, two stepsons, Andrew Lazenby, Richard Lazenby, two stepdaughters, Marie Day, Betty Comstock, several step grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren, several step great-great-grandchildren and a large host of friends. Pallbearers will be Milton Stewart, Lee Scoggins, Randy Yates, Anthony Cross, Billy Neighbors, and James Day. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home.
